Colin Meldrum is the founding editor of A cappella Zoo, a magazine of fiction and poetry in the magic realism & slipstream modes. He grew up in Idaho, made a new home in Seattle, and is living in the English countryside for the time being. He teaches English to speakers of other languages, reads strange fiction and biological nonfiction, prepares amazing candlelight suppers for his husband, advocates volunteerism and a few other isms, and regularly acts on his aversions to artificial lighting, closed windows, and idle legs.
